Trying to understand complex subjects… one failure at a time.

The dude always referred to himself as a “thug.” For a while I bought it. Here’s the thing though… I’ve met a lot of “true” thugs when I was homeless on the streets and they only treated me with the upmost respect and kindness. They generally have similar code of ethics and an unexpected type of chivalry towards good women. True thugs, love strong, loyal, women. Not one, EVER tried to own me. They always encouraged me to embrace my own freedom and claim my self-worth, while keeping me relatively safe from abuse.

He’s not a thug.

True thugs run away from him. Everyone does.

That must’ve been lonely and scary, to want to fit in with a group of people that wouldn’t accept him. Being locked in the same space for a few decades with so many. Sounds like an endless nightmare to me. I don’t hate the guy. He won’t let anyone feel sympathy for him, either. Says it’s pity and it pisses him off. Anyway… it will take a lot more than this bull crap to make me go into whatever this nonsense is, all or nothing. Except, for what’s T-Raven’s.
