Perfectly Human

I’m reconstructing a cover song from the ground up. The goal is to learn how to put sounds together in the correct tempo and key.

Now… if only my MIDI didn’t stick. (Motherhood).

I think I’m going to have to use a real snare and kick. There’s too much delay from the time I push the buttons. I know it’s some sort of setting, probably something to do with “timing” or the “delay,” but I’m frustrated, so I don’t know what I’m doing. But… I do know how to keep tempo on a drum, and that’s all I need.

Hopefully, my neighbors work tomorrow because, well… 🤷‍♀️ I plan to work on assembling these concoctions of sound during and after the move. Gotta use the time I have in the present to record everything.
