My last tip was about Wal-Mart cash from manufacturer coupons. Tip two also focuses on manufacturers. Many Wal-Mart cash back offers are from new products.
What I do, is write the manufacturer a quick review and send it to their customer service. Whether my review is good or bad, they generally always send “thank you” coupons. Often they’re for a small discount, but… there are times when I’ve received stacks of free item coupons. Meaning the product’s cost is covered by the coupon. One time Ragu really hooked me up. 👍
Writing product reviews to the actual manufacturer is generally met with warmth and generosity. Honestly, I can’t recall a time that I haven’t gotten coupons in the mail or by email after writing a review. The trick is to not write it on the item description where it’s purchased (Walmart or Amazon). Rather, directly write or email the customer service contact info on the packaging. They like hearing what customers have to say (something I learned in business school).
