When you feel tired and exhausted, it’s not your body or God’s way of saying to “stay strong and keep going.” It’s a sign that you need to slow down, take it easy, and first, get some rest.
I write this as I take a low-dose aspirin and get into bed at 4 pm. I have a connective tissue disorder/autoimmune disease, and I’ve learned that my flare-ups can be managed and will go away if I pay attention. 🧘♀️🕊️☮️🪷

Here’s how I quickly reset my body when It’s not cooperating.
A list of the symptoms I was experiencing at 4pm:
- Chest, neck, and shoulder pain
- Headache
- Dizziness
- Hand and arm tremors
- Leg and foot cramps
- Blurry vision in my left eye
- Pain, cramps, and tremors in lower legs and feet
My own prescription:
- Low-dose aspirin
- Flintstones Vitamin
- 36 ounces of hibiscus and rosehip tea (very high in vitamin C)
- Consume a scrambled egg (high in protein and omega fatty acids)
- Lay in bed and meditate
Results at 5pm:
- I’m back to normal and can finish up the rest of my day.
If I don’t take the time needed to care of my health, my problems will worsen, and I’ll end up in bed unable to recover quickly. One hour now saves weeks later. 🤯
