Perfectly Human

Now it’s worn like a badge of honor.

This outfit’s ancient! Both dress and boots made it through my second try at college. I was saving them for graduation but never expected to fit either again. There were many physical setbacks along the way. The largest were losing 100+ pounds and retraining a formerly broken ankle to wear heels.

Unfortunately, life happened and graduation “attendance” didn’t.

But, these photos are still a pretty cool reminder that… me, my high-heeled “kick-butt” gladiator boot-sandals, and favorite “pretty” dress made it through many ups and downs together!

The old dress ceased to fit after gaining weight. I bought a new one that was similar to the original.

{I had to work my actual butt off for several years…}

2025!

To finally fit back into the original dress.
