Trying to understand complex subjects… one failure at a time.

4 hours into the paperwork decluttering session… I’m exhausted and used part of my hours of sleep. I feel a 100 years lighter though. Well, no… maybe a few hundred? Some of that stuff was ancient and not in English! 😏Seriously, there was a lot of Latin! There were also many… many… many hieroglyphics!

I had the same paperwork online with at least 4 copies. Then… at least one physical copy. Nope, I’m not doing that anymore! LOL. There were some projects that I had over ten physical copies and about the same amount of “untitled” digital copies.

Good News: I FOUND MY FUTURE DISSERTATION! A Department Head or Dean, (I have trouble remembering and I’m too tired to look it up) was helping me with it. Anyway, I broke my leg and had to put that project on hold too! It was supposed to be a short paper for an academic journal, overseen by a PhD. But… it was far too complex. I couldn’t shave off anything to make my argument. I’d like to pick it back up, and make comparisons with the newest data. But first… I need to do a few other things.

As it stands, 80% of the paperwork is ready for recycling. (By recycle, I mean shredded and put in a huge box. Doc McPiggie loves to tunnel through paper during his “free-piggie” time.)

I’ll cut the remaining 20% of paperwork down by another 80%, when the kids do school work. Right now, I’m sitting at about 3 cubic feet of solid paper. That’s still WAY too much!

Off to another adventure… have a good one!
