I was doing well but… Mombie struck!

Mombie is a term used to describe a mother who hasn't slept enough. She is barely functional, pissed off, and running on auto pilot. She often emerges from slumber when the reigns of chaos and disorganization threaten to overtake her life. She likes to simplify the process of cleaning. The most infamous line Mombie's screech is one we've all heard. "Pick that up right now, or it's going in the trash!"

I stayed up too late organizing my drives, labeling files, and THEN… deleted the wrong section of files from my computer. It turns out several thousand of them were from my archive in the cloud. SO… today, I’m digging through the trash!😁

Also, I’m also going to start sticking to my bedtime! If I had just gone to bed, decades of work wouldn’t be in a dumpster. Oh man, I hope they go back to the correct folders and I don’t have to reorganize everything. 🤨

The Mombie part of me wants all of the clutter gone, NOW! She says, “It’s fun to rebuild from scratch.”

My rational brain thinks, but I at least need my reference pieces?

Together they rummage through the remnants and debris. Both, in agreement… “save the essentials.”

“If something’s on another program or platform, leave it behind.”

If it was only in the drive and can be used to build with, “grab it, we need that… dummy.”
