Trying to understand complex subjects… one failure at a time.

Earlier I showed how I use AI to develop a menu with what I have available in the house. I’ll sit with the menu for a day or two and think about what meals, snacks, suggestions don’t work for me or my family. Then, I make adjustments and put it into a calendar form.

I print it off and stick it on my fridge. Then I follow it, most of the time. I allow substitutions, but I switch them with other days, to make sure the food will still be there.

I’m not suggesting others do the same, but it is a helpful way to monitor spending and consumption.

Additionally, it helps track my daily “big” chores and the kid’s homeschooling daily “subject of focus.”

Having everything written down, planned, displayed, and following through helps my children. It creates security, predictability, and consistency that is crucial for their development. They do not have to wonder what is next, they just know. As a kid, I never knew what was next. I have no control over their lives with their fathers, but with me no matter how rough things get financially, they always know what to expect.

Blessings,

Tansy
