The haikus were written on December 22, 2024 to explore point of view and perspective. They served as a reference piece in a writing club, created to help those struggling to see how POV can shift tones. It also influences how the reader interprets the message. During the time it was written, Beauty was the subject of examination. A revision of these poems will be posted and linked at a later date.
1st Person
I veiled my beauty
Behind blind spots where seeds of
Self-doubt consumed me.
My ugliness veiled
Beauty behind blind spots where
Seeds of self-doubt bloomed.
2nd Person
You veiled your beauty
Behind blind spots where seeds of
Self-doubt consumed you.
Your ugliness veiled
Beauty behind blind spots where
Seeds of self-doubt bloomed.
3rd Person
He veiled his beauty
Behind blind spots where seeds of
Self-doubt consumed him.
Their ugliness veiled
Beauty behind blind spots where
Seeds of self-doubt bloomed.
Her ugliness veiled
Beauty behind blind spots where
Seeds of self-doubt bloomed.
