Ancient site’s creation. 

Gaps in evolution 

With mysteries 

Remaining for centuries. 

Human history rewritten  

by Prometheus’s snake  

Who has bitten its own tail. 

Fires burned to ash  

leaving nothing behind. 

Cremation, a real scientific find. 

How many civilizations,  

of different levels of intelligence,  

beyond our own  

have risen and fallen? 

Lost people, gone without a trace,  

Scorched… devoured by fires. 

Turn to modern carbon deposits,  

Look for these 

In the depths of soils, made invisible from time. 

It’s there questions… find answers  

and new species are found.
